Henry Slade joined the Financial Services Industry in 1999 with Lloyds Bank in the UK after spending 26 years in the military. He trained as a financial consultant advising on Investments, Pensions and Mortgages before moving on to become a self employed Financial Adviser specialising in Mortgages.
In 2002 he moved to Spain for some of the good life and before long started a part time job selling houses and soon realised the expert financial advice was very hard to come by. He was approached so much that he decided to start La Vida Mortgages, this became La Vida Mortgages SL in 2005.
La Vida Mortgages SL specialises in finding the best and most suitable Spanish mortgage or re-mortgage solution for those looking for financing anywhere in mainland Spain, the Balearic and Canary islands.

We are a Spanish company based in Costa Blanca, dealing with the Spanish market place every day. Our local knowledge and experience allows us to give you high quality professional advice, in simple terms and with human understanding.
Our service is geared around the UK approach to customer service and given the differing Spanish lifestyle and mentality we act as a proactive buffer to clients driving our Spanish banks and lenders to deliver the product and service the client expects, whilst maintaining high levels of communication with the client to ensure they feel comfortable and secure in the knowledge that they are being dealt with by independent professionals in Spain.
Our bilingual ability has enabled us to establish good relationships with not just all the major Spanish lenders but also specialist licensed Spanish intermediaries and private lenders, therefore allowing us access to a wide range of Spanish mortgage products.
We are independently owned, allowing us to give truly impartial and independent advice on the most suitable Spanish mortgage available to you.
Please remember that your home is at risk if you do not keep up the payments on the mortgage or loan secured on it.
